The Standard
Commercial Market Readiness Score.
The CMR Score is a composite measurement of Revenue Infrastructure strength across five structural pillars. It is calculated on a 100-point scale. It is not a satisfaction score, a brand awareness score, or a net promoter score. It is a structural assessment of the commercial system’s ability to produce consistent, compounding pipeline performance. The score does not measure what your team believes the system can do. It measures what the market can actually observe.
Five Tiers
What The Score Means.
| Score | Tier | Recommended Next Step |
|---|---|---|
| 0 to 59 | Underbuilt | Request Diagnostic Audit immediately. |
| 60 to 69 | Emerging | Request Diagnostic Audit. The full audit produces a scored peer comparison and a 90 day install sequence. |
| 70 to 79 | Structured | Request Diagnostic Audit. Significant gaps are likely suppressing pipeline performance. |
| 80 to 89 | Advanced | Commission Signal Suite. The infrastructure is commercially credible. |
| 90 to 100 | Category-Leading | Commission Revenue Activation. Compound the authority you have built. |
How It Is Used
The Score Scopes The Work.
The CMR Score is not a report card. It is the input that decides what gets installed, in what order, and what is measured afterward.
Install is scoped from the pillars that scored lowest, in priority order.
Signal Suite is commissioned when the infrastructure can convert the intelligence.
Revenue Activation is commissioned when authority is ready to compound.
The score is re-measured quarterly against the baseline set by the diagnostic.
CMR Score, Five Tiers.
Tier 1, 0 to 59, Underbuilt
Critical structural gaps across multiple pillars. Pipeline performance is inconsistent and dependent on individual relationships. Immediate diagnostic evaluation and structured installation is required. Organizations at this score level are commercially fragile. A single client loss or a BD person departure has an outsized impact on revenue trajectory.
Tier 2, 60 to 69, Emerging
Infrastructure fragments exist but are disconnected and inconsistently deployed. The foundation is present but the system is not yet functioning as a commercial engine. Pipeline performance is improving but remains dependent on manual effort in most areas.
Tier 3, 70 to 79, Structured
Infrastructure is functionally installed across most pillars but gaps remain. Pipeline is more consistent but still dependent on manual effort in specific areas. The organization is commercially credible in some dimensions but not yet at the minimum credible standard across all five.
Tier 4, 80 to 89, Advanced
Infrastructure is commercially credible and performing above the minimum standard. The priority at this tier is activating the intelligence layer through Signal Suite. Organizations at this score level see the highest ROI from Signal Suite because the infrastructure is in place to convert the intelligence into pipeline.
Tier 5, 90 to 100, Category-Leading
Infrastructure is market-leading across all five pillars. Revenue Activation compounds the authority already built. The organization is entering buyer conversations as the recognized category authority. BD conversations are confirmations rather than introductions.
CMR Score, How It Is Used.
The CMR Score prescribes which Signal Suite products to activate and in what sequence. It determines the Revenue Activation build priority. Organizations that track their CMR Score quarterly experience faster and more measurable commercial improvement than those that measure revenue outcomes alone.
Quarterly CMR Reviews
Every BioAlliance engagement includes quarterly CMR Reviews. The score at engagement start becomes the baseline. Progress is tracked across all five pillars. The quarterly review identifies which structural improvements are producing measurable commercial outcomes and which gaps remain as the highest-priority installation targets.
